2005 Anakena Carmanere

Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue, showing good cling. Top note of dark cherry, followed by dark chocolate, mocha and spice, creating an exotic sniff. There is an earth flavour on the palate, over a dark chocolate and mocha layer – almost coffee like with blackberry in the background. Fine grained tannins, spice, mocha and dark chocolate aftertaste.
