Zema’s winemaker Greg Clayfield has partly fermented this Shiraz for 5-7 days at 24o celsius and then transferred the wine into small French and American Oak to complete fermentation and undergo 16 months of barrel maturation.

An excellent Shiraz from Coonawarra.

Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Top note of vanilla, confectionary, spice and blackberry followed by a refined cedar end note. The palate has good weight and depth, with flavours of cedar, blackberry and new leather emerging – elegant, yet flavoursome. Soft tannins. Very long aftertaste of spice, cedar, confectionary and blackcurrant.
Cellar 4-5 years (2011-2012)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
