2004 Yarra Junction Estate Pinot Noir

MV6, 114 and 115 clones have been grown to produce this Pinot. The wine has been matured in one third new French and two thirds 1 year old oak barriques. Semi-translucent crimson colour with mauve hue. The nose delivers a strong varietal lift with top notes of strawberry followed by a touch of spice, game and raspberry. Moderate power wave on the palate. Spice, strawberry flavours dominate. Fine grained tannins. Strawberry, spice aftertaste.
