An outstanding Shiraz from Mount Barker. Totally opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose delivers an excellent varietal sniff. Vanilla, plum top note, followed by spice and blackberry. Excellent palate weight – flavours of spice, plum, vanilla and confectionary emerge over a blackberry background. Fine grained, dryish but balanced tannins. Very long aftertaste of vanilla, plum, confectionary and liquorice.
