2004 Wynns Single Vineyard Johnson's Block Shiraz Cabernet

Bright deep crimson colour with deep mauve purple hue. Medium body. Top note of cedar, followed by spice, vanilla and confectionary. There is a sense of stalkiness on the palate, overlaid with stewed fruit. The tannins are quite dry but fine. This is a tight knit red with little give at the moment. Dry tannins persist into the aftertaste.
