In 1891, John Riddoch established the original Wynns vineyard and winery. The Coonawarra terroir and particularly the terra rossa soils which lie over a layer of porous limestone are said to contribute to the unique qualities of the wine. The vines must struggle to penetrate the water table under the terra rossa, forcing the vine to produce low yields with concentrated flavours.

A classic Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Refined nose of blackcurrant, cassis, light liquorice and cedar. The palate displays a sense of refinement, with flavours of mint, cedar and blackcurrant. Fine dryish tannins, excellent balance, followed by long aftertaste of spice cedar, and blackcurrant.
Cellar 5-8 years (2012-2015)
Alc/Vol: 13.5%
