2004 Word of Mouth Merlot

Medium body – brick red colour with brick red hue. There is a hint of tea leaf on the nose, followed by a hint of stewed fruit and spice. Flavours of stewed fruit and leather – the palate lacks varietal flavour. Dry chalky tannins which run through to the aftertaste.
