Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson, mauve hue. Aroma of cherry and blackberry, followed by spice and liquorice, delivering a good varietal lift. Blackcurrant, spice and liquorice flavours are evident on the palate, followed by black pepper and a very spicy back palate. Aftertaste of liquorice, cedar and blackcurrant.
