2004 Wolf Blass Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc Merlot

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of blackcurrant, followed by cassis and just a hint of cedar, delivering an impressive Cabernet sniff. The palate flavour profile is quite tight. Some tea leaf flavours emerge, followed by dry firm tannins which dominate. Aftertaste of tea leaf and cigar box, with dry tannins persisting.
