2004 Wild Rock Merlot

This wine has been produced from the Gimblett Gravels wine growing district. Very deep purple black colour with black purple hue. The nose displays notes of ripe mulberry and spice. The palate does not carry through the ripe fruit flavours suggested by the nose. Plum and stewed fruit flavours emerge, however, the palate falls into a hollow. Fine dry tannins.
