2004 Wedgetail Estate Reserve Pinot Noir

This reserve has been made in the vineyard, where only the fruit from the best performing vines has been selected. The yields were reduced in order to concentrate the flavours even further. Medium body, bright crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is impressive. Top note of black cherry, followed by truffle and spice, showing strong varietal character. The palate continues to reflect the strong varietal flavour profile, with cherry, strawberry and truffle flavours evident. Impressive power wave, which continues to build. Long spicy aftertaste.
