$14. 99
Bottle
$179.88 Dozen
Cellar: 3 - 4 Years (2009-2010)
ABV: 14%
Closure: Screw Cap

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose with violet top notes followed by blackcurrant, cassis and spice. The nose displays excellent Cabernet character. The palate is not as 'joosy' as the Shiraz and reveals a light, controlled tea leaf character over layers of blackcurrant and spice. Fine, dry, slightly chalky tannins which are in balance. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice with fine dry tannins persisting. The wine has been awarded the Frangos & Frangos Trophy for the Best Cabernet at the Daylesford Wine Show.
Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)
Alc/Vol: 14%

Other reviews...
The impressive 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in used American 300 liter hogsheads) exhibits a deep ruby/purple color, loads of fruit, silky tannins, and abundant volume and richness without being heavy or pruny. It should be drunk over the next 3-4 years.
89 points.
