2004 Warrabilla Reserve Shiraz

A magnificent big bold Shiraz. Totally opaque black purple colour – typical of the saturation that Andrew Sutherland Smith delivers. The nose is distinctly Shiraz with lifted notes of vanilla, blackberry, cherry and spice. The palate is classic old time big Rutherglen Red – (the 3 course meal plus cigar included). Mouthfilling palate, explosive with flavour and showing great balance without any alcohol sensation. Flavour of black pepper, spice, ripe plum and blackberries are supported by fine dry tannins. Excellent balance with very long aftertaste of spice, blackberry, black pepper and vanilla.
