2004 Warrabilla Limited Release Parola's Durif

Is it possible to produce a red that is so big that is over powers the senses, leaving them begging for mercy? The Warrabilla Parolas’s Durif is one such wine – it is totally over the top, there is too much of everything, and in our opinion, the Reserve Durif gets the balance right. Totally saturated black purple colour with purple black hue – it is simply impossible to imagine more colour. Lifted nose of vanilla, morello cherries, liquorice strap, dark chocolate and spice. An obscenely obese palate with a whopping 17.5% Alc/Vol – yet the alcohol does not impact on the palate. Flavours of dark chocolate, cherry ripe, liquorice allsorts, liquorice bullets and morello cherry. Soft tannins – A total concentrate with very long aftertaste. A Monster!
