2004 Vasse Felix Cane Cut Semillon (375ml)

The concentration of flavours in this wine has been achieved by cutting the primary cane at the base of the shoot and allowing the grapes to shrivel ripen over a period of 6 weeks. This method effectively eliminates the water flow from the roots allowing the grapes to ‘dry out’. Brilliant gold colour with pale gold hue. Aroma of honey, apricot and lemon. The palate flavour profile is mouthfilling. Spice, honey, lemon and apricot concentrate emerges. Luscious mouthfeel. Excellent length. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of spice, honey, apricot and lemon.
