2004 Vasse Felix Cabernet Merlot

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of cassis, cedar and cigar box followed by a touch of truffle, earth and leather. The palate displays excellent varietal character. Flavours of spice and truffle followed by a hint of cedar and leather. Fine grained, balanced tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, cassis and leather. A wine that will continue to evolve.
