2004 Ursa Major Pinot Noir

The nose is delicately perfumed, showing distinct varietal character. Medium body. Crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. Aroma of violet and strawberry jam with a spicy end note. The palate reveals a wine of moderate length, with flavours of spice, cherry and strawberry evident. Fine dryish tannins, which are too dry at this stage. There is a hint of stalkiness appearing, followed by cherry, strawberry and spice aftertaste.
