2004 Ursa Major Chardonnay

Deep golden colour showing oxidative handling, together with bottle age. Top note of honey, followed by a hint of honeycomb and nougat. On the palate flavours of honey and citrus emerge, however, the fruit is fading rapidly. There is a surprising finish with a “lemon zing” on the back palate, however, there is little else to commend the wine.
