A collector's Tomatin, selected and bottled exclusively for "The Whisky Show" which was hosted in Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne. Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2017 at cask strength, just 314 bottles were released. This has had a finishing period in a barrique that previously contained Moscatel, a naturally sweet wine produced in a similar way to Pedro Ximénez Sherry.

Tasting note: Bright gold. Significant wine pick-up with a sweet overlay of caramel and shortbread; backs off after air contact, emphasising drier scents of ginger bread, straw bail and grain store. Intense, bittersweet, brittle malt delivery; ups the sweetness in the later stages with sponge cake, spicy oak and peppery warmth. There's a bitter / acidic thread to this that's tamed with minimal dilution, but taste it straight first. Non chill filtered. 56.8% Alc./Vol.
