This blend is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. This was the second bottle that we tasted and proved to be a quantum leap over the quality of the first bottle. By way of explanation to this experience, the first tasting was from a bottle supplied by a customer who had left if in his car on a 40°C day. The second bottle was delivered from the distributor directly on a cooler day. Cooking your wine is not a smart idea!

Opaque black purple colour with purple black hue. Lifted Cabernet nose of violets, cedar, blackcurrant, raspberry and spice. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel with flavours of ripe blackcurrant, spice and violet infusion followed by a cedar background. Excellent length and depth - showing perfect balance. Long Aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant, mulberry and liquorice allsorts. Winner of the Max Schubert Trophy at the Royal Adelaide Show.
Cellar 3-5 years (2009-2011)
