Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Aroma of yeast lees, fig, melon and spice followed by a hint of tropical fruit as an end note. The palate flavour profile is light, with some cashew and fig emerging over a light honeycomb background. The wine lacks length and depth. Aftertaste of fig, honeycomb and cashew.

First tasted, May 2005:
A refined style. Bright straw colour. Aroma of cashews, hazelnut and yeast lees followed by a hint of fig and melon. The palate reveals flavours of citrus, melon and fig over a spicy oak background. Clean acid finish. Very long aftertaste of spice, lemon and cinnamon.
