Taylors Estate stormed the market in the early 70’s with their Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The 1973 Cabernet received the distinction of winning a gold medal in every National wine show. Over the years, the Taylor family have expanded their range of wines but managed to maintain that early integrity of quality and fair value. The fruit for this wine is sourced from Clare Valley and Coonawarra. The wine was one of the stars at the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles wine show, being awarded a Grand Medaille d’Or (Great Gold Medal).

A sophisticated and refined Cabernet.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of light tea leaf, followed by cedar, cigar box, mint and blackcurrant, showing strong Cabernet lift. On the palate, flavours of blackcurrant and cedar followed by cigar box and some confectionary. Aftertaste of cedar and confectionary.
