The 2004 St Hallet GST was recently awarded the trophy for "Best Fuller Dry Red Table Wine" at the 2006 Sydney International Wine Competition.

The GST is made from old vine fruit consisting of top quality parcels of Grenache, Shiraz and Touriga. Totally opaque black purple colour with purple hue. Perfumed nose of raspberry, spice, liquorice allsorts and dark cherry creating an impressive sniff. The palate is more restrained than the nose suggests, but slowly evolves to reveal ripe flavours of raspberry, cherry and liquorice allsorts. Fine, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of ripe cherry, plum and raspberry. An excellent example of the blend.
Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)
Alc/Vol: 15%
