2004 Spookwood Coolakin Creek Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The Coolakin Creek Vineyard is located 200 km south of Perth. The wine shows considerable bottle development for a 2004 red. Developed nose of stewed fruit, cedar and leather. The palate fruit flavours are drying out, with stewed fruit and leather being dominant, followed by a hint of confectionary. Fine grained tannin. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and new leather.
