2004 Scotchmans Hill Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose of spice, blackberry, vanilla, plum and black pepper – a surprising voluptuous start from a cool climate Shiraz. The palate flavours are generous, ripe blackberry and plum flavours are followed by vanilla, confectionary and liquorice allsorts over a spicy back palate. Fine grained soft tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe plum, vanilla and confectionary.
