2004 Scorpo Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of white pepper, spice and plum with a hint of new leather, and a spicy confectionary end note. The palate is quite spicy, with blackberry fruit following. There is a sense of elegance, although this is a quite lean wine. The structure is quite tight. Aftertaste of plum, spice and freshly crushed plum juice.
