2004 S. C. Pannell Shiraz Grenache

This wine has been produced from 90 year old Shiraz vines and 60 year old Grenache vines.
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of raspberry, followed by spice, a hint of plum and liquorice allsorts. The palate is generous and shows plenty of complexity. Mouthfilling and very spicy, with black pepper exploding, masking the Grenache. Very strong flavour profile. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice and plum.
