2004 Rosabrook Slaughterhouse Block Dry Red Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc

This wine is made from a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Top note of cedar followed by blackcurrant and spice showing good Bordeaux inspired lift. The palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, followed by cedar and an acceptable level of tea leaf. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and cassis.
