2004 RockBare Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. Lifted nose of spice, confectionary, vanilla and blackberry followed by a hint of leather as an end note. The palate disappoints, lacking the typical ‘joosy’ quality that has become the trademark of McLaren Vale. Stewed fruit flavours dominate the palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice. A relatively simple wine.
