2004 Rivergate Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of blackberry, followed by vanilla, liquorice and spice, delivering a good varietal lift. On the palate flavours of plum and spice emerge – the wine structure is tighter than expected. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, mocha and dark chocolate.
