Translucent brick red colour, already showing bottle age. The nose is subdued – in fact hardly discernable. Light, leather top note, followed by subtle cherry. Light palate flavours, hint of faded leather. Dryish tannins.

Retasted, December 2006: Semi translucent, crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Medium body. Aroma of cherry and spice, followed by a hint of sour cherry and strawberry jam. The palate flavours are light – with sour cherry and light strawberry evident. Fine dry tannins Aftertaste of sour cherry and spice.
