2004 Pondalowie Vineyards Shiraz

Pondalowie has made some very impressive wines in recent years. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Lifted nose of violet, blackberry and confectionary delivering an excellent sniff. Mouthfilling, ‘joosy’ palate – challenging the best of South Australia for generosity of flavour, with liquorice, spice and ripe plum flavours on the palate. Fine grained tannins, with black pepper emerging on the back palate. Very long aftertaste of black pepper, plum and blackberry.

Alc/Vol: 14.5%
