2004 Pirie Estate Pinot Noir

This Pinot delivers outstanding depth of colour. Black purple colour with purple hue. Lifted nose showing good varietal character with aromas of cherry and spice with a strawberry end note. Flavours of spice and black cherry on the palate with just a hint of liquorice emerging. Generous mouthfeel, however only a modest power wave. Aftertaste of cherry and plum over a soft tannin background.
