2004 Pierre Amadieu Romane Machotte Gigondas

Semi translucent, deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. Lifted nose of spice, confectionary and ripe raspberry followed by a hint of new leather. The palate flavour profile is lighter than expected. Light flavours of spice and stewed fruit. Fine dry, slightly chalky tannins. Light aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit.
