2004 Pettavel Evening Star Shiraz

Very deep crimson brick red colour with deep brick red hue. Aroma of cedar, followed by a touch of old leather and spice, showing early development. The palate remains quite tight with flavours of white pepper followed by a hint of ginger. Fine, quite dry tannins. Aftertaste of white pepper, ginger and stewed fruit.
