2004 Peter Douglas Chime Hoop Cabernet Sauvignon

Former Wynns Winemaker, Peter Douglas produced his first Coonawarra Vintage in 1986 – so one could assume he knows a thing or two about the terroir and it's potential to produce exceptional wine.

Very deep black crimson colour with deep crimson hue, showing some development. Superb, perfumed nose of violets, cedar, vanilla, spice and blackcurrant. Mouthfilling palate with flavours of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and toasted oak. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, spice and dark chocolate.
