2004 Petaluma Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with water like hue. Top note of yeast lees followed by fig and cashew. On the palate layers of fig, cashew and grapefruit emerge over a very spicy back palate. Excellent length. Long spice, grapefruit and melon aftertaste. Relatively soft acid finish.
