2004 Pepperjack Shiraz Viognier

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Top note of blackberry with spice, apricot, vanilla and liquorice. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel – spicy, liquorice and plum flavours, followed by black pepper, plum and spice. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of ripe plum, spice and black pepper, with liquorice allsorts persisting.
