The Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz is probably Australia’s most famous multi regional blend of Shiraz. A substantial proportion of the 2004 vintage was sourced from the Barossa with components also coming from McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Padthaway. The wine was matured for 12 months in a combination of one, two year old and older American oak.

A magnificent Bin 28, reflective of the quality of the vintage.

Opaque black purple colour with deep black purple hue. Top note of vanilla, followed by spice and perfumed violets delivering an excellent sniff. The palate flavours are equally impressive with mocha, chocolate, spice and black pepper supported by back palate flavours of plum and stewed fruit. The tannins are perfectly balanced, fine grained followed by a very long spicy finish.
