2004 Patrice Wines Durif

Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue, showing good cling. Aroma of dark cherry, followed by vanilla, spice and liquorice allsorts, creating an almost perfumed lift. The palate does not have the depth of flavour that the nose promises. Delicate flavours of plum and liquorice. Soft acid finish. Light cherry and plum aftertaste.
