A superb Gippsland Chardonnay Narkoojee is a tiny vineyard located at Glengarry, 15 kilometres north of Traralgon in Gippsland. The first vines were planted in 1980 on a half acre plot in deep, fertile alluvial soil. In order to achieve optimum levels of ripeness, the Lyre Bird Trellis system has been employed, which ensures the maximum exposure of fruit to sunlight. With careful vineyard management, the cool climatic conditions of the region allow both red and white varieties to develop complex flavour profiles not found in warmer climes.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Complex, lifted nose of hazelnut, cashew, biscuit and yeast lees with melon and fig end notes. The palate is refined and mouthfilling, supported by a good acid backbone. Creamy palate texture. Flavours of biscuit, cashew, hazelnut and honeycomb emerge. Long aftertaste of honeycomb, hazelnut, cashew and yeast lees with citrus lingering.
