2004 Mountadam Shiraz

The wines of Mountadam have been under performing now for too many vintages, however, this wine delivers a glimmer of hope. Very deep black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose displays excellent varietal lift, with aromas of spice, blackberry, confectionary and vanilla. The palate delivers flavours of liquorice, spice, blackberry and chocolate supported by fine grained, soft tannins. Long aftertaste of spice, black pepper, dark chocolate and vanilla.
