2004 Mitchell McNicol Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with dark red to dark brick red hue. Nosing reveals scents of liquorice, dark plum, some mint, a hint of leather and spice. Full bodied the palate still possesses plenty of richness with mouthfilling liquourice, dark plum and minty confectionary like flavours with a spicy peppery back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length and persistence with long liquorice, spearmint, subtle leather and spicy pepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
