2004 Lindenton Wines Marsanne

This wine is much deeper than the standard Shiraz, however it is by no means as saturated as one has come to expect from Heathcote. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of plum, spice and violets, followed by a hint of leather and stewed fruit. The palate reveals flavours of plum, spice and stewed fruit over a spicy oak background. Fine grained tannins. Plum, spice aftertaste.
