The wine pours well, excellent mousse, with moderate hold. Fine bead, with good persistence. Crimson colour base wine. The nose displays a hint of leather, followed by liquorice, spice and plum. On the palate the earth and leather flavours are prominent, supported by spice and plum. Fine slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of earth and leather.
