2004 Leasingham Bin 7 Riesling
The history of Leasingham dates back to 1893 when a group of South Australian businessmen founded the Stanley Wine Company. The altitude of 400 metres above sea level combined with cool night time temperatures provide the perfect conditions for intense Riesling. Brilliant straw colour with waterlike hue. Floral, lime, spice and tropical fruit notes emerge on the nose. Excellent palate weight, with lemon flavours dominant over a lime background. Crisp acid finish, with long aftertaste of lemon and lime.
Cellar 4-5 years (2009-2010)
Alc/Vol: 12.5% Stelvin
Other reviews….
More potent and powerful fruit than most from 2004, with intense mineral and citrus aromas and flavours, the palate deep and long.
