2004 Leasingham Bin 61 Shiraz

The wine displays fantastic colour extraction. Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose is a delight, displaying lifted notes of liquorice allsorts, vanilla, blackberry, plum and spice. The palate does not have the same carry through as the colour and nose suggest. Flavours of liquorice, vanilla and plum. Fine grained, dry tannins – perhaps just a touch too dry at this stage. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum and spice.
