Medium body. Bright, crimson mauve colour with purple mauve hue – showing excellent colour. Top note of raspberry, spice and cherry, delivering good varietal lift. The palate is on the dry side – flavours of cherry, plum and stewed fruit emerge with a hint of raspberry. Fine grained, dry tannins. Aftertaste of cherry, raspberry spice and just a hint of liquorice allsorts.
