2004 Kimbarra Shiraz

An excellent Great Western Shiraz made by long time Seppelt winemaker Ian McKenzie. Opaque black crimson colour with deep black purple hue. Lifted nose of violets followed by blackberry, spice and fresh liquorice allsorts. On the palate there is a touch of chocolate, followed by plum, cherry and blackberry. Fine dry, chalky tannins which run into the aftertaste. Long cherry and plum aftertaste.
