2004 Kalleske Clarry's Grenache Shiraz

A very impressive blend, composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Raspberry, spice, white pepper and liquorice top notes. The palate has rich, sweet fruit flavours – quite joosy, with raspberry liquorice flavours showing some macerated character followed by very ripe raspberry and ‘cherry ripe’ back palate flavours. Perfectly balanced with fine grained tannins, followed by a very long ripe raspberry, ‘cherry ripe’, white pepper and vanilla aftertaste.
